Ian Ordish - Director
Cave Leader, FAW, PTTLS, PHEC Cert.

Ian Ordish has a lifetime's experience in British Industry and is well placed to appreciate the special demands of First Aid in the workplace. He is a qualified Cave Leader who has explored and led groups in most of the best known caving systems in the UK.  Ian is an active member of the Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team with whom he has vast experience in dealing with real life casualties over some 36 years.  Ian holds the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Certificate (PHEC) from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and is a member of BASICS.

David Matthews - Director (Company Secretary)
MA, RN, RNT, Cert Ed.
Mountain Leader, Climbing Instructor

David is a Registered Nurse with a career spanning more than 40 years,  twenty of which have been spent as a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at Universities in the North West.  He is a qualified Mountain Leader who works extensively in the outdoors climbing in UK and on expeditions around the world.  He has been a full member of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team for 28 years, during which time he has worked with countless real life casualties.

He also provides private outdoor services, mountain leading, climbing and navigation training.

Keith Gillies - Director
MBA, DMS, Cert Ed. PHEC Cert.
Mountain Leader, Ski Leader, Ski Instructor
Canoe Instructor, Sailing Instructor

Keith is well known in the North West from a long career as a senior manager of services for the County Education Authority.  He is a qualified teacher with a passion for the outdoors and outdoor education, qualified as a Mountain Leader and water sports and ski instructor.  He has belonged to the Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team for some forty years and has a great deal of hands-on experience with seriously injured casualties and is a keen and competitive yachtsman. Keith holds the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Certificate (PHEC) from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).

Pauline Matthews
MA, BA, RGN, RNT Cert Ed.
Clinical Adviser/Trainer

Pauline has enjoyed a career in Nursing spanning more than 35 years working in a range of clinical specialties including Gynaecology , Surgery and Acute & Critical Care.  For 20 years she has been a Nurse Tutor and is currently Senior Lecturer in Nursing for the School of Health at the University of Central Lancashire.

Pauline has a significant professional profile with a number of publications in clinical care and research and is an approved First Aid Training Provider.
