First Aid at Work

(18 hours, 3 Days - Level 3 RQF)

We are fully approved to deliver the 3-day, 18 hour First Aid at Work course, however, as there is such small demand for this course it is not  commercially viable to offer it as an open course, we only deliver it where a customer has a group of candidates who require the course.

Course Content, in addition to the above:

  •     Injury to limbs
  •     Head Injury
  •     Spinal Injury
  •     Chest and abdominal injury
  •     Burns and scalds
  •     Eye injury
  •     Poisoning
  •     Medical emergencies

For many customers who required the 3-Day First Aid at Work prior to the 2013 changes in the workplace legislation, the Two-Day Level 6 Outdoor First Aid course (16 hours) is often a more appropriate and more economical option.

If however you wish us to provide a 3-Day First Aid at Work course for your employees we are happy to do so.  We may be able to host it at your own workplace so long as there is appropriate learning space available.  Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Certification life is for 3 years, each candidate receives a First Aid at Work Manual.

NOTE: All our courses are practical and active, we normally expect all candidates to be able to bend, kneel, lie and roll another person on floor mats, and to perform CPR on a manikin.  We advise all candidates to dress so that they will feel comfortable to do so.

‘Forestry +F’ Endorsement

Where the ‘Forestry +F’ endorsement is required for workers in high risk industries this can be an added component to any course by prior arrangement.  It can only be supplied where the course is specifically arranged in advance.
